The slow stew

Must try. Very easy to make and healthy. Uses just a couple of tablespoons of oil!

The easiest -and the tastiest – thing to make. The mutton stew!
A kilo of fresh mutton, an assortment of veggies, chopped – medium sized pieces – onion, tomato, a few green chilli and it’s done.
Well, not quite!
Ideally, first fry the mutton in a pan with a couple of tablespoons oil. Throw into the slow cooker. Add the chopped veggie ‘basket’, stir in salt, some black pepper, some red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, coriander and  cumin powder, a little basil, some mint leaves (chopped) and dried fenugreek. Do not add water since the veggies have enough to cook the meat.
Set the slow cooker on 80C and go to sleep.
The stew is ready when you wake up six hours later.
The aroma says it all.
And it spells TASTY!
Try it!
