This is what we saw when we opened the front door this morning!
Mr. Rabbit had come calling.
We have often seen two of these cuddly creatures roaming around in the compound as we step out for a walk but it was a surprise when it came calling.
The immediate fear was that Tyson would launch an attack so the priority was not to let him out. That taken care of, I tried to scare the rabbit away but it wouldn’t move and furiously groomed itself and rolled in the mud.
When, several minutes later, it was still there, this video happened.
I am surprised these two (perhaps they are a couple) are hale and hearty so far in spite of a large number of cats all around but, then, the cats are used to them by now.
However, Tyson does not know that. And he hates cats anyway. So, the theory is any friend of the cat is his enemy.
Hopefully, we will be able to keep him away.
But will the rabbit know that? Only time will tell.
Somebunny is really comfortable in your courtyard ! How lucky !

What a tame rabbit! I hope it manages to survive, and that Tyson does not detect it and sniff it out! Do you see rabbits often? We do, unless we have foxes around which has been the case for nearly a year now. 😦

It’s indeed very tame. As long as it doesn’t get into the back yard it’s safe from Tyson I guess. I have never before this seen rabbits anywhere in Bahrain 😏
