A Certain Spring in the Air

As I stepped into the garden early this morning, the difference was very evident. Slightly cool, a gentle breeze and loads of dew on the grass meant it is finally getting ‘winetry’.
While it will still be a month before we can get anywhere near  what we can loosely call ‘cold’, the change is like a breath of fresh air.
Now we can actually step into the open while the sun is still not out. We can also sit outside the four walls of cool comfort with a cup of tea and take a stroll.
But what is most pleasing is that the grass is greener, the leaves are beginning to get full and the flowers are beginning to emerge and showing off their bright colours.
It is pleasant and getting better. Certainly, there’s a spring in the air.

Isn’t the change of seasons the most wondrous thing in nature? Unfailingly, the seasons arrive by turn!
