It was rather unexpected but when I got just a one hour notice to fetch my camera and board a chopper for a Bahrain tour, I literally jumped at it. In the end, it took another couple of hours of briefings and ‘mapping’ before me and our video cameraman were airborne. However, more than an hour of literally hanging out was every bit an enjoyable experience.
This is the Muharraq coast, where I have taken hundreds of pictures from the ground – but looking at the ground – and the sea – from up there gave it a whole new look.
The fishing boats, the ‘chalets’ and the piers, are all there. And, since it was low tide, the coulors of coast are even more visible.
Everything looks so different – and beautiful – from up there!
More, for sure, to follow!
