This is more of an evening snack than a regular lunch or dinner meal. But since it is so simple to make, I decided to ‘complicate’ it a bit and make gravy and rice also.
Ir 500 grams of prawns, put half a teaspoon of red chilli powder, a little turmeric powder and salt (to taste) and shallow fry for a few minutes until brown. Remove and keep aside.
In the same pan, shallow fry a large, coarsely-chopped onion for a couple of minutes.
For the gravy, take a few cloves of garlic, a small piece of ginger, a large tomato and a large onion and mix into a paste in a blender.
