I went back to the coast this evening – and found nothing. No people, no animals, not even birds. The empty “hut” and the abandoned boats were proof enough of the extreme weather that we are now experiencing. While a light sea breeze does cool things a bit, it’s the 40 degrees C plus during the day that really drives one up the proverbial wall. It’s not that this is the first time Bahrain’s experiencing such temperatures but we have to comment on nature in some way. Rather that wonder in amazement at the way things are, we humans tend to complain against the hot weather, the rain, the snow and the frost. No matter what nature does, humans will be those “complaint boxes” that do not stop making a noise!
