Making of a picture

I spotted three friends sitting on a bench having tea in the Old Muharraq market when a fourth, passing by, joined them for a round of “gossip”. I chanced upon the three when I had stopped by to take pictures of “life” in the suq . I was intrigued by their conversation, which centred around how business had shaped up in the last few months.
As I snapped away, trying to capture as many expressions as I could, the passer-by stopped, and after the customary greeting, spoke about how he had done.
The four accompanying pictures tell their own story.
