Bird's Eye View

This stork seems to enjoy the view of the Manama skyline from the coast of the Arad Bay in Bahrain. Though migratory birds have all but left the island after the country’s mild winter, some still stay behind and are often spotted in the shallow waters, especially during low tide.
The weather’s otherwise extremely hot for these feathered friends of ours to be comfortable, with the mercury tipping the scales these days at 35 C plus.
