Picnic by the sea

Picnic by the sea

Found this great spot to organise a beach outing even on a hot summer day. That’s what is so good about staying in Busaiteen, when we are never far away from the vast ocean and all beautiful sights it has to offer. Surprisingly, even though the temperature is now touching 35 degrees C and it’s getting hotter by the day, sitting here under a palm leaves roof is very refreshing. The leaves rustling, the high tide coming in, the sound of the waves and an occasional ‘fly past’ by seagulls and other water birds, not to mention the more than mild breeze, is a surefire stress buster one can look forward to after a grueling week at work.
But, no, we will not come here this weekend! We are off to the more “romantic” climes of a private island in the Arabian Sea.
See you later!

What a refreshing view! I can “feel” the experience of the wind and sea in your narration. So different from my Midwestern US way of living. Thank you for taking me to travel in your world!
