New Bahrain ‘Taxi’?

Came across this “TAXI” while going around the Muharraq area in Bahrain this afternoon. Though Bahrain is a small island nation with a population of just about a million, it does not yet have a reliable public transport system with most inhabitants preferring to go around in their own cars. There are a few taxis on the roads but these are mostly for tourists and visitors and most of the local population avoiding their use. Perhaps this rather “enterprising” two-wheeler could give the authorities an idea to introduce such taxis in some of the country’s neighbourhoods, on the lines of Bangkok, Thailand or Goa, in India. Could solve a lot of public transport problems and save on fuel, as well as contributing towards a cleaner environment!
