It's Lonely Up There

A solitary bird engages in some self-introspection perched on a leafless tree. This sight is fairly common in Bahrain during the hot summer months when temperatures can touch 46 degrees C. But come October, the weather begins to cool and trees and other shrubs spring back to life, and are in full ‘bloom’ a month later.
